Guide to buying mattresses
Did you know that on average, each of us spends nearly one third of our lives asleep? Sleep is critical to the smooth running of our day, and our fitness. Your nights are not to be taken lightly! For a peaceful and restorative sleep, your choice of bedding is essential.
Mattresses: new technologies of comfort
Do not worry if you do for the moment, no difference between spring mattresses and latex mattresses. There are currently three main technologies used for the manufacture of mattresses: foam mattress, mattress springs, mattress and latex. Each technology has comfort features well defined:
- The mattress foam

Choosing a mattress
Whether at the level of technology your mattress firmness or size, your body will influence the choice of your mattress.
- Asked size for the length of the mattress, a tip: always choose the length of 20 cm above the size of the larger of the two. Indeed, your sleep will be disturbed if your legs can not extend properly.
- Side width, the minimum for beds 1 person is 90 cm and 2 cm to 120 people, but depending on your build or your spouse, the minimum sizes may be too fair. For your comfort, please choose a mattress extra large 160 x 200 cm.
- And finally, select technology and firmness of your mattress according to your weight if you are fairly lightweight, use foam or springs, with flexible support that can adapt to your body, and not forcing your lower back. If you are more embedded, choose a firm and dynamic: the pocketed spring mattress will fit you. Ideally, if you’re a couple with differences in body size, the mattress is latex, which will guarantee complete independence sleeping.
